This years primary schools cross country races take place tomorrow (Sunday 8th October) at East Court in East Grinstead. We wish all athletes the very best of luck tomorrow and hope you enjoy the day. We encourage everyone to stay for the medal ceremonies and results will be sent directly to the schools.
Please note the following:
- please respect all of the athletes and do NOT cross the course during the races
- we recommend athletes do NOT eat a large meal before racing
- the weather is expected to be warm and it’s important that athletes have sufficient water
- the conditions of the course are expected to be good and firm underfoot
Travel arrangements:
- parking is limited at East Court and we urge everyone to consider walking to the races
- the lower car park and road leading to it will be closed for the safety of the athletes
- the upper car park is for the use of people receiving flu / covid jabs
- please do not park on the grass
- there is free parking at Chequer Mead car parks on Sundays
